The company was originally established in 2008 and then owned by Colin Jones under the name of Powerlift Hoists. Colin was a Structural Engineer who also built and sold his own ‘Aussie Lift’ branded 2-Post car hoists for some years.

In April 2013 Colin retired and sold the business to Grant Pura who renamed the business Hero Hoists Queensland with its products branded as Lift King. Shortly after taking over ownership, the business was relocated from Alderley to larger premises at Salisbury. More recently, we have moved to a modern and larger premises at Yatala on the south side of Brisbane.

The company has shown considerable sales growth and expanded its product range since the change in ownership, we now cover a broad range of quality car hoists to cater for both the Australian domestic and commercial markets.
